Company Overview
Verticon Group Limited was formed in 2004 to provide specialised construction services and equipment hire to the building and construction industries on a variety of projects in the high-rise, large commercial, residential and engineering sectors. It is the largest tower crane operator in Australia with over 100 cranes and 60 hoists.
Verticon's foundation businesses were Seca in Queensland and Econ in Victoria. Fire Up Cranes & Rigging in New South Wales was acquired in September 2005 giving Verticon coverage right through the Eastern seaboard from Melbourne to Cairns and making Verticon the market leader in the provision of cranes, hoists and other vertical lifting solutions to the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Verticon Group's strategy is to further develop a complete service offering to the building, construction, public infrastructure, energy and resources industries throughout Australia.
